Mac Electric began more than 25 years ago as a small family business driven by a desire to serve the community and create meaningful opportunities through reliable electrical work. What started with residential projects has grown into a full-service electrical company dedicated to thoughtful electrification, helping homes, businesses, and developments adopt smarter, cleaner, and more reliable energy solutions.

Michelle McLaughlin
Michelle is the visionary and co-founder of MAC Electric. A true entrepreneur at heart, she brings a deep, hands-on understanding of every facet of the business. Michelle leads MAC’s company vision, strategic planning, culture development, and operational processes with purpose and clarity. She is deeply passionate about adding value to others and empowering her team to achieve their personal, professional, and financial goals. One of her greatest joys is collaborating with the exceptional MAC team to create thoughtful, innovative solutions that better serve our customers.
Outside of work, Michelle treasures time with her family—especially her grandchildren. She enjoys evening walks, lifting weights, personal development, reading, dancing, and expressing her creativity through decorating her home.
Shannon McLaughlin
Shannon is a co-founder and integrator of MAC Electric, bringing his expertise as a Master Electrician licensed in both Colorado and Wyoming. With a hands-on approach, Shannon brings deep expertise in electrical code compliance, system design, analysis, estimating, and project/team management. Known for his service-driven leadership, he fosters a strong, unified team culture while ensuring every customer receives exceptional workmanship, professionalism, and responsive support tailored to their needs.
Outside of work, Shannon is a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who deeply cherishes time spent with his family. A Colorado native, he enjoys making memories outdoors through hiking, hunting, camping, four-wheeling, and golfing, and finds great fulfillment in the balance between family life, meaningful work, and time spent in nature.
Shiloh McLaughlin
Shiloh McLaughlin, Land Development Manager and Master Electrician, has deep roots at Mac Electric, helping establish the company from 2001 to 2007 and rejoining the team in 2015 to support its next phase of growth. A Master Electrician in Colorado and licensed Journeyman in Wyoming, Shiloh oversees the organization and operations of Mac Electric’s Land Development division, while also estimating, managing projects, and staying active in the field.
He is committed to strong client relationships, excellent customer service, and ensuring every project is completed efficiently and safely. A Loveland native, Shiloh enjoys fly fishing, hiking, hunting, and spending time outdoors with his wife and their three children.
Jay McLaughlin
Jay McLaughlin brings a lifelong passion for customer service to every project he supports. Born and raised in Loveland, he is known for his creativity, transparency, and commitment to doing right by the customer, qualities that make him an integral part of the Mac experience.
With a background in service roles ranging from the TPC golf course to a local health club, Jay excels at working closely with clients to develop customized solutions for LED lighting and Commercial EV projects. He studied Business at Grand Canyon University.
Outside of work, Jay enjoys spending time with his wife and embracing his new role as a dad to his daughter. He’s also an avid supporter of the Avalanche and Broncos, and loves staying active through golfing, hiking, camping, and hunting in the mountains.
Josh McLaughlin
Josh McLaughlin has been a dedicated member of the Mac Electric team for more than a decade. Following in his father’s footsteps, he takes pride in working within the family business and continues to deepen his expertise by learning from MAC’s senior electricians. Josh enjoys tackling challenges, mastering the trade, and delivering results that make customers happy. Outside of work, he loves spending time with his wife Mechole and daughter Mable, exploring the Colorado outdoors, fishing, hunting, and competing in golf tournaments.
Sharolyn Lopez
Sharolyn Lopez joined Mac Electric in December 2024, bringing a strong background in personal business consulting along with degrees in Business and Marketing Management. She thrives on learning new industries and helping organizations start, organize, and grow.
A Loveland native with family roots spanning more than a century, Sharolyn has lived and traveled across the country and abroad but always finds her way back home. Outside of work, she stays active running the technical sound booth at her church, camping, kayaking, crafting, crocheting, and spending time with family and friends. Sharolyn considers her four children her greatest accomplishment and finds her deepest source of joy and strength in her faith.
Lindsey Krause
Lindsey Krause is a proud Colorado native born and raised in Johnstown, where she now lives with her husband and four children. Her life is full of activity, supporting a busy schedule of basketball, softball, volleyball, dance, gymnastics, and swimming lessons, and she loves spending family time camping, especially at Lake McConaughy in Nebraska.
With more than 15 years of experience coaching youth cheerleading, Lindsey has stepped back from coaching to focus on family, yet her dedication to community remains strong. At Mac Electric, she feels right at home, embracing the same family-first values that guide both her personal and professional life.
Gerald Amdahl
With more than 12 years at Mac Electric, Gerald Amdahl brings extensive experience across commercial, residential, and industrial electrical work. He thrives on challenging projects that require thoughtful control design and creative problem-solving, and is known for his friendly approach, strong customer service, and commitment to leaving every job site better than he found it.
Outside of work, Gerald stays active and energized through fishing, mountain biking, four-wheeling, snowboarding, camping, dirt biking, home projects, and a consistent fitness routine that keeps him positive and alert.
Devin Vise
Devin Vise is a dedicated journeyman electrician and a valued member of the Mac Electric team, known for his strong work ethic and commitment to his craft. Recently becoming a father, Devin treasures quality time with his daughter, along with his wife and their three dogs—Stan, Bella, and Benji.
An avid snowboarder, Devin loves carving down Colorado slopes in the winter and unwinding with a round of golf when the weather is warm.
Steven Pierick
With more than a decade of industry experience, Steven Pierick has shifted from concrete work into electrical after being inspired by a neighbor and drawn to hands-on problem-solving. Certified in OSHA 10, CPR, and forklift operation, he brings strong safety, skill, and professionalism to every job, specializing in lighting upgrades and EV charger installations. Steven thrives on troubleshooting, delivering meaningful results, and empowering customers with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their electrical services.
He enjoys collaborating with a diverse team and embodies Mac Electric’s culture of positivity and accountability, captured in his personal motto, “Be the light.” Outside of work, Steven spends his time on family hikes, skateboarding, and snowboarding.
Chris Wright
Chris Wright, originally from Honolulu and part of the Mac Electric team since 2018, loves helping companies and communities improve through innovative electrical solutions. Known for tackling every project with positivity and a signature smile, Chris brings both skill and great energy to the team.
A passionate movie buff, especially when it comes to The Fast and the Furious, he’s also the go-to for movie trivia and enjoys competitive gaming. Outside of work, Chris soaks up Colorado sunshine with his dog, Yeezy, a husky/heeler/shepherd mix who ensures they get plenty of hikes and dog-park adventures.
Zach Huss
Zach Huss joined Mac Electric in 2021, eager to grow in a hands-on, skilled trade. Known for his positive energy, quick wit, and ability to lift spirits on any job site, Zach brings both enthusiasm and reliability to every project. Outside of work, he trades his tools for a whistle as a lacrosse referee, traveling throughout Colorado and across the country to officiate games at all levels, from youth leagues and competitive high school matchups to veteran tournaments.
Hunter Pflieger
Hunter Pflieger joined Mac Electric in June 2022 and works supporting journeymen and master electricians across a wide range of job sites. Deeply committed to the electrical trade, he is enrolled in the Four-Year Electrician Apprentice Program through IECRM in Fort Collins and is focused on completing his final year and earning his journeyman license.
A proud Colorado native living in Loveland, Hunter spends his free time outdoors—hunting, fishing, and relaxing with his two dogs, Jersey (a St. Bernard) and Maverick (a Catahoula Leopard Mix)—bringing the same dedication and energy to his personal life as he does to every job.
Justin McLaughlin
Justin McLaughlin has two years of hands-on experience as a journeyman electrician, inspired by family members who sparked his interest in the electrical trade. He specializes in excavation and land development and especially enjoys large-scale street lighting projects where he can see meaningful, tangible results.
Valuing the organized, supportive, family-driven culture at Mac Electric, Justin takes pride in listening closely to customers and delivering high-quality work with attention to detail. Outside of work, he loves fishing, hiking, hunting, camping, and pursuing his passion for music; a former longtime wrestler, he’s also known on the job as a reliable team player who keeps morale high.
